Together, the people of north San Diego County and the Old Mission San Luis Rey Historic Foundation can form and mold the strategy to save Mission San Luis Rey through the creation of a successful endowment program for ongoing maintenance and restoration. 

This collaborative effort can also save Mission San Luis Rey from condemnation through funding the seismic retrofit.  Working together, the people of north San Diego County and the Old Mission San Luis Rey Historic Foundation, will enable Mission San Luis Rey to remain a living example to be experienced rather than pictures in a book to be remembered.
